Danish-German Writers’ Retreat at Hald - April 18-25, 2009

Four Danish and four German authors are being offered a working residency at the Danish Centre for Writers and Translators at Hald Hovedgaard. The residency is meant to promote interchange between Danish and German literature, thereby serving the artistic dialogue between the two countries.

The Danish-German Writers’ Retreat is an initiative of the Danish Embassy in Berlin, and is part of the embassy’s Berlinaut Program (www.berlinaut.um.dk).

The four German authors will be chosen in cooperation with Literarisches Colloquium Berlin (www.lcb.de), while the four Danish authors will be chosen in cooperation with Hald Hovedgaard, the Danish Centre for Writers and Translators.

The Danish-German Writers’ Retreat will be held at Hald Hovedgaard from April 18-25, 2009.

Deadline for applications is March 1, 2009.
